My wedding photography focuses on telling the story of your wedding day by capturing the emotion of it. My style is photo journalistic / documentational. This style tends to take a step back from a traditional perspective, that is so widely spread in today’s wedding photography industry, and thinks outside of the box. My mission is to capture natural moments, the events that are unfolding, and not be distracted with forcing events to happen. My focus is on the key players in the wedding. I wait for moments to happen. My approach is non-obtrusive. For the bride and groom who want to see the story and the moments of their day, the development of the emotion, the details and the instances. Your wedding day the way it was meant to happen, not the way the photographer wants it to happen.
My style is to shoot primarily with the use of no flash photography, and utilizes natural light, producing a more natural feel to the photography. There are times when the flash is needed, but it is always a last resort.
I shoot deliberately for your wedding album. Throughout the day, I envision how the story will unfold. Therefore, in order to produce an album that flows, and allows me to interpret the story of your wedding day the way it was seen through the lens, I offer the bride and groom the option of me choosing the photos for the album. In many ways this is a huge burden removed from my clients. The couple may indeed choose their own photos for the album if they wish. However, allowing me to do so, your album is completed and delivered to you in less than five weeks time.
